Feeding the "big fish" at the Japanese Garden

Maia loved playing in the supermarket, making all sorts of creative recipes
Some of the glass left on display
Maia and Chase loved walking on the stone paths, especially the ones that crossed the creek.
Chase has been so into dinosaurs lately that we bought tickets to the Dinoquest in the Climatron. Once we were inside, Chase wasn't so sure he liked the "big dinosaurs" anymore. There were tons of dinosaurs displayed throughout the forest...really neat, just a little scarey for a 2 year old!

The Magic House
Chase loved little baby Stella. He wouldn't stop giving her hugs!

Maia's 4 year checkup
Maia is definitely a growing girl! According to the growth chart, Dr. Day said if Maia's growth pattern stays the same, she may reach 5'10"! Guess we'll wait and see...

Happy 4th Birthday, Maia!!
It was a beautiful day for Maia's Birthday Party last weekend! (Much different than her first birthday party where we were all huddled under the pavilion, trying to keep warm in the 30 degree cold!) The kids had a great time in the bouncer and playing with bubbles. Maia LOVED her princess birthday cake!

Happy Easter!
The weather was beautiful this year on Easter in St. Louis! Continuing the Kohne family tradition, we went to St. Anthony's for Easter Sunday mass. Uncle Larry hosted Easter breakfast at Aunt Linda's as well as an egg hunt. Maia was so excited to finally see her favorite cousins, Allison and Amanda. Then we were off to Uncle Bob and Aunt Kathy's for brunch and another egg hunt. The kiddos made out like bandits, filling 2 freezer bags full of candy and 2 containers full of "easter bunny eggs". We had a LONG ride back to Kansas City Sunday night. There was a lot of traffic until Columbia, then came the tornado watches and warnings. Maia was so scared because of the traumatic experience we had earlier in the week, getting caught out on the trail when some severe weather came through. We made it home safe and sound. It was so good to spend the weekend with our family! Thank you for everything and Happy Easter!
The Gaddis Family
Maia was so excited to where her pretty yellow dress. She asked everyday the week before Easter if she could wear it.
Found one!
