Bart, Stephanie and James turned 28 in July!! Bart and I made birthday cakes for the celebration. They're so old :)

Maia loves her activity center! She's starting to reach for the toys, and gets so excited when she hits something that makes noise. We went to St.Louis to visit Jim and Laura this past weekend, and Maia went swimming for the first time. She loved to splash!

Baptism

Maia's Baptism was today. She was such a good girl! She had the biggest grin on her face when Father was pouring the water on her head. Maia's great-grandparents, grandparents, aunt and uncle made the trip from St. Louis for the occasion. Godparents, Aunt Laura and Uncle Matt.

Welcome to our blog site!!

Now that we have a little girl coming into our lives, we want to be able to share all of her important moments with everyone. Regardless of how far away we are, you'll be able to watch her grow. We will try to keep our site as up-to-date as possible to give everyone the latest news. Please feel free to respond, we would love to hear from all of you! Last week, we went to a sonographer who does 3D/4D prenatal imaging. It was amazing!! That's when we found out we're having a little girl...and there was no doubt about it! I've posted a few of her very first pictures. In these pictures, she's 27 weeks. Bart has been working on remodeling the basement...it looks great! He only has one more wall to finish, then on to painting and carpet. Once the carpet is down, we will be rearranging a few rooms in the house, and we'll begin on the nursery. It's a constant, ongoing project. We hope to see you all soon!
